Help! : r/projectzomboid. Black screen on launch, first time playing. Help! I cannot for the LIFE OF ME get this damn game to work! I just installed it for the first time about two hours ago and since then I've been trying to get it to work. I start the game from Steam and all it does is launch and show a black screen.I'm getting a black screen when I start up the game. After character creation and world generation. I can see the UI, tips, inventory etc, but everything under that is simply black. Tried compatability mode and safe start up, no change. I'm using an ATI Raedom 5700 series 2GB graphics card. Very vanilla computer: dual core 2.8 chips, Windows 7 fully patched. Played this a long time ago back on ...The official community of V Rising on Reddit!
